A Clear Vision
By Bharataji Miguel Borges
The Power of a Clear Vision is what can makes you move towards your destiny. You may be "out of track" most of the time but... if you have a clear vision... you will arrive. Sooner or later. You know that a plane if 90% "of track" during a flight. And the pilot is constantly with an eye on the control panel. Well... with your Vision is just the same. It is OK even if you are 90% "of track" but you MUST keep an eye on your Vision (your "control panel") to make sure you're moving on the right direction.
So... "always keep an eye on your Vision". Move forward
Having a Clear Vision is just like the focus of a camera. Before you shoot you focus. About your vision you need to do the same. Focus it every day before you "shoot".
To have a Clear Vision it is very useful to have well defined objectives. And these can start with the definition of DREAM...
... let me share with you something very simple but useful that I learned one day.
DREAM.
D = date
R = realistic
E = specific
A = ambitious
M = measurable
Let's start from the beginning: your DREAM must be divided in Short Term Dreams (STD = less than 1 year), Medium Term Dreams (MTD = between 1 and 3 years) and Long Term Dreams (LTD = more than 3 years).
This means that each of your DREAMs (the matter of your Vision) must have a date. Setting a date is the only way you can know if you did it or not when you get there. So set a date for each dream.
Then they must be realistic which means you must define dreams that you really want to realize and that you believe (and see) you can realize them. There is no point of setting an objective that you know you will not realize.
When you go into the details of your dreams you must be as much specific as possible.
To motivate you every day to do a little more towards your goals, they must be challenging.
And you must measure everything. This is the same as with the date. You must measure it if you want to know if you realise it or not.
So...... this is as simple as it looks.
To improve it a little more you can just add some pictures & photos to every single DREAM or, even better, do a time line and add the pictures and photos there and put the time map on the wall next to where you'll work.
And you will going to see the results... everyday!
Sincerely hope this is useful.

7 Strategies To Get Super Rich In Network Marketing By Eric Mclaughlin
If you wanted to know if there is a secret formula to get super rich in network marketing, there is.
But the problem is not the formula, the problem is the people. Over 90% of those who read this will not follow this formula. And those are the people who are the opportunity seekers who jump form one opportunity to another thinking the problem is with the company.
The fact is that the problem lies in them. If the leaders in a company are walking across the stage receiving bonus checks then there is nothing wrong with the company or comp plan, they proved that it is possible. The problem lies within the individual themselves.
If you want to get super rich in network marketing, then follow the simple steps I've outlined below.
7 Strategies That You Need To Be Super Rich
1. Develop An Affinity With MLM
Have a real intimate feeling for the people you are marketing to. Find out their pain, why they're frustrated and confused. Understand that they are angry because they've been lied to, cheated and misled. They've tried a lot of different things in the opportunity market and they're in constant emotional turmoil.
The marketers who do the best job at at letting the prospect know that they are understood are the one who help the most people and make the most money.
Nothing takes the place of people feeling like they're understood. So the most important thing you need to understand is that emotional pain drives the opportunity marketplace.
2. Send Out For Other Network Marketing Information
All of the ideas that you are looking for are already being used by other network marketers and network marketing companies. You need to get familiar with every single MLM company that you can. This lets you immerse yourself in the marketplace and find the common denominators you need to market effectively.
The easiest way to do this is to create a junk email address and opt in to every business opportunity you can. Study their headlines, see how their sales funnels are set up, notice the hypnotic persuasions and emotional trigger techniques they are using.
Another good way to do this is to go to your local book store and buy a couple of business opportunity magazines and the weekend edition of USA Today. Locate the classified ads and send off for all of the 'work from home' business opportunities they offer. Send off for every single one.
The purpose of this is not because you are interested in these opportunities but rather to understand and get feel of what is going on in the business opportunity world.
You're going to get more junk mail than you can handle but that is the point. Open the packages, read the sales letters, study the calls to action. Create a swipe file and gather the best ones for you to reference later when you are putting together a marketing campaign.
Even if you have no idea on how to market effectively, just follow this strategy, you will develop an eye for marketing.
3. Know What Your Customers Want
Learn what people in this industry want and give them only these things. Don't give them what they need, what you think they need, or what you think they want. Give them ONLY what they want.
I can tell you the only thing they want are systems where everything is put together for them all in one place ad one that is easy to teach to do as well (known as duplication).
They want to know that they will be able to run a profitable and viable home based business. The simpler and easier it is for them the better.
4. Start Small
This is one that most entrepreneurs will never follow and is why they're dead broke. Before you start spending $1000′s of dollars on fancy full page ads, 2000 click solo ads, and direct mail marketing you want to start small so that you can get a feel of what works and what doesn't.
Instead of the full page magazine ads you want to start with running a couple small space ads that only cost an average of $100 and let it run for 30 days. Instead of 2000 click solo ads run a couple of 250 click solo ads.
You will ALWAYS break even so you won't be spending any money doing this. The most important thing to do is split test (running two ads at the same time and see which once converts best) and scale your advertising. Scaling means taking the profit that you've earned from your previous campaign and spend more money on the ads that worked.
Before you know it you will be spending thousands of dollars on laser targeted and highly responsive ads that will have you enrolling reps into your business faster than you think is possible.
5. Segment your Email List
You need to separate your email list based on who is the most responsive to your emails and those who have previously purchased from you (if you sell an affiliate front end product). These are your best prospects. You have to take better care of them and develop a real bond and connection with them, almost like a friendship.
You have to have constant contact and let them know that you are really trying to help them. That helps them feel better about you and will trust you meaning that they are more likely to join you and your business.
6. Develop Alliances With Other Smart Marketers
Don't make the mistake of hiding yourself. Go out there and find the best marketers you can do business with and become their best friends. There are so many people out there that have more experience than you do and will help you through some of the pitfalls they went through. Nobody gets rich by themselves and if you study all of the top network marketers in the industry, you'll find that they've had a lot of help and guidance along the way.
7. Plan And Organize
You need to plan and organize so you can keep track of everything and be more successful. It's boring, but it absolutely necessary. It helps you set the agenda, set deadlines, keeping your business in motion, and putting yourself under some pressure to get it done.
Basically it forces you to keep the work flowing. The most important fact of this strategy is this: If you want to make more money then more of planning and organizing you'll have to do. This is what separates those who are making $5,000 a month from $50,000 a month.
All you have to know is what to market to your prospects and they will be storming at you with money in hand.
Think of network marketing as a giant safe that's filled with hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars. Just figure out the magic numbers to unlock this safe and all of the money can be yours.
I've already given you a head start on cracking the code. Now take action and follow the strategies that can have you Get Super Rich In Network Marketing.
Please visit Eric McLaughlin's network marketing blog to learn more on how to become super rich in MLM. You can also receive more information about how to attract more prospects to you so that you can massively explode the growth of your downline.

History of the Bulldog and Future of the Pit Bull By Parker Tolentino
The debate over breed legislation for pit bulls in the US remains a controversial one. Due to the graphic nature of recent and persistent pit bull attacks, many have decided to ban the breed from entire counties and even states. Many argue that the breed itself should not be blamed for its behavior, but lawmakers should instead change the laws to hold the owners more responsible. Others believe that regardless of who is to blame, the dogs themselves are committing violent acts and should therefore be eliminated. I believe that the problem can and should be handled the same way the early bulldog of the mid 19th century was allowed to transform from a terrifying killing machine into a docile and civilized companion.
In the early 17th century, the bulldog was quickly gaining a legendary reputation in Europe for its ability to challenge much larger animals such as bears and bulls. The most popular spectacle of the times was the bull fights, where a single dog, or several dogs, would attempt to take the bull down. Many dogs were gored, flung to death, and trampled. The bulldog was the preferred dog not only for its strength to attack the nose of the bull and hang on without getting thrown off, but also for its fearless willingness to pursue the dangerous bull regardless of intense pain or crippling injury.
Over the next two centuries, the early bulldog continued to evolve for the sport of bull baiting. Massive heads, stocky bodies, and incredibly powerful jaws were most desired, and were bred accordingly. They were also bred to be freakishly savage and ferocious to the point that they were becoming increasingly dangerous to humans. Bull-baiting, as well as bear-baiting, reached the peak of its popularity in England in the early 1800s until it was made illegal by the Cruelty to Animals Act of 1835. This left the bulldog with no useful purpose and a threat to average citizens. Determined to make these dogs suitable for civilized life, professional breeders intervened with a full breed rehabilitation process. They started to cross the early bulldog with the shorter and less athletic Pug and allowed only calm and less aggressive offspring to reproduce. Soon the savage bulldog of centuries past was no longer, and the new more acceptable bulldog quickly grew in popularity as a house pet.
Today, we are faced with a similar situation with the pit bull. Pit bulls have affixed a reputation for aggression and viciousness over the last twenty-five years. Irresponsible backyard breeding has resulted in unstable dogs that are not suited for domestic life and often end up in shelters all over the country. Pit bull enthusiasts and owners have a deep affection for the breed for many reasons and are passionately against any sort of breed ban legislation. The solution, in my opinion, should begin with how pit bulls are acquired. Even though many people generally encourage adopting a dog from a shelter over purchasing one from a professional kennel, the pit bull is a special case that people need to consider. There are many professional pit bull breeders who have sterling reputations for good temperaments, health, and most importantly, the genetic history and documentation of each dog. As long as we allow stray pit bulls with questionable backgrounds to be adopted by ill prepared and uneducated people, we will continue to have incidences of pit bull attacks. The early bulldog was successfully transformed in a systematic and responsible manner, and pit bulls should be allowed to evolve in the same way.

How You Feel About Working From Home Has Nothing To Do With Anything By Nick S Ritchie
When someone says to me that they know they will come across the right business when it feels right, I have to shake my head and wonder, "Does this person run their entire life on emotion?" Are they always looking for something to feel just right before they will take the step forward to do what they really want?
The funny thing is, that no business will ever feel just right because to evaluate a good business has nothing to do with emotion and everything to do with taking advantage of trends and timing, and being able to create leverage.
So evaluating a business is what we are talking about here, and even if you decided on feeling to start your own home based business, chances are you would be entering into it with emotions on your arm and you would quit at the first feeling that things weren't going the way you expected.
And think about this, when was the last time that you set a goal and everything went perfectly to plan as you expected?
Never! This just doesn't happen. What I can guarantee you that will happen is that you'll have challenges. The same way when you first started learning how to ride a bike you had challenges; it was new and exciting, sure, but it was also a bit scary and you weren't sure if you would fall off or not, but you got back on that bike after a nasty fall and eventually you could ride it with no hands.
The same thing applies to starting and running your own highly successful work from home business. You'll start out the same way everybody else does (or most people) with no experience (or very little) and you'll slowly (or quickly) but surely learn the skills to be successful.
You can expect to just start right out of the gate really excited and operating on a dream cloud and have that same feeling with you the whole time you build.
It's going to take effort, determination, and some consistency to learning that will help you reach your goals, as with anything in life.
Do you think that when I first started the gym I was excited? Sure! But after my first week of workouts I was tired, and had no energy and that certainly wasn't what I expected, but you know what? I stuck at it, and I had huge success at turning my health and fitness results around and dropping the fat.
Running your own business from home will require you to drop some fat. The type of fat that lingers around and causes you to always fail. I'm talking about old limiting beliefs and stuff that's up inside your head that has been challenging you in the past. When learning new skills, it's going to be fun, but it's also going to require you to stay consistent eve when you're not feeling 100% or at your best, because in order to get to be the best and think like the best, you'll need to exercise your mind.
So decide today to stop evaluating businesses or what you're going to do in your life based upon how you feel about it, and start thinking about some of the key success factors that are needed as part of the recipe to creating a great tasting cake, or business!

Tips on Becoming a Firefighter: The Basics By Hector Raizel Hawthorne
Firefighting is often a rather demanding, dangerous, the work tends to be strenuous and isn't for everyone. But, if you desire it badly enough, it's possible to accomplish your dream of obtaining a career placement in a fire establishment of your preference. Start by preparing yourself, but try to remember, there could be several thousand candidates for only a handful firefighter work positions. It's essential to differentiate yourself.
The screening approach for firefighters is extreme. Make the evaluators position challenging. Don't allow them to have any reason to launch the application straight into the waste stack, a bad driving history will certainly disqualify even the very best job candidates. Get on the web and check out up the places you would take into consideration being employed by, do your analysis to discover when they're testing. A good number of fire departments get start the screening system with some type of written evaluation.
There's a few activities to do in order to make yourself more significant to a probable department. Along the lines of becoming an EMT, performing or possibly volunteering within the EMS or health care area, or possibly acquiring a college degree. Both a written exam in addition to a physical test are required to be passed before you are approved on to a training program. The written test is normally made up of around a hundred multiple selection questions and covers memory, observation, judgement, thinking in addition to spatial awareness. A part of the examination practice is the physical ability test, It's not necessary to turn into a muscle head, but you will need stamina, upper body power, and endurance.
Apprenticeships programs are available with some fire departments, operating equipment and responding to calls. Fire departments that supply apprenticeship classes usually employ candidates who have gone through and completed an apprenticeship designed for firefighting positions. Almost all of departments are usually demanding an emergency medical technician qualification to apply and more than 90% will need this kind of certification immediately following employ.
Volunteering is one a great way to add working experience and stand out from the rest of the candidates, but only some departments contain volunteers, and dependent on your location, their populace and local government, volunteer choices might not be offered. Should your local department not have volunteers, FireDepartments.net features a list of contact information and department statistics. The volunteer firefighter and emergency medical related services is definitely a difficult, exhilarating and satisfying experience, conveniently compacted into one program. Moreover it provides a variety of practical choices which you'll pursue as a volunteer or perhaps in a career position, this is often just about the most and best recommended measures to take if one is truly serious on becoming a firefighter.
Becoming a firefighter can certainly be a tough experience if one is not prepared, for much more information and facts on recruiting, average firefighter salary, application procedures, advice and tips on every aspect of recruitment to the Emergency services and understanding how to become a firefighter, check out our website at Firefighters Institute: how to become a firefighter.

Support Yourself in College By Tom Bodeep
For most students, college is the first taste of living your life independently as an adult. However, with independence comes the need for responsibility, and tuition, car payments and other bills have to be paid somehow. Many students choose to seek work in the retail or service industry, but these positions rarely relate to the student's actual desired, future career path. Clever students will quickly come to understand that seeking the experience relevant to what they want to do with their lives usually always pays off in the long run. To get more out of their job and start to grow a career for themselves, these students often turn to a staffing agency to find internships and other positions in their field of interest.
Why Should You Work with a Staffing Service?
Staffing services offer college students an excellent means of building a work history, while assisting them in making ends meet while in school. Temporary positions available through a staffing service can help college students to get a foot in the door at a company or in a field of interest. While any job a college student accepts may pay the bills, a student who works with a hiring agency to find temporary, part-time or seasonal work in their field will have a stronger resume to submit after graduation. On-the-job training and skills a student learns can give them a leg up on the competition when they move into their chosen fields.
College should be the best four years of your life, a time to get a higher education while gaining new life experiences and enjoying yourself. Importantly, however, this is a crucial time when students should be discovering who they are and what all their life passions could possibly be. The groundwork for career choices are made during these years, and gaining employment through a staffing service (even if it is only for one season or only a temporary period) can help a student build a foundation from which their careers can be established.
Take Action to Make Your Dreams Come True
If there is a career path you are leaning toward, seek temporary employment through a staffing service. This will help you to see if the field and culture is a good fit for you before making a permanent decision.
Find a professional and reliable staffing service in your area to make the most of your college years.

Preparing for an Interview for Any Job By Kevin J Murdaugh
Preparing for an interview can be life changing depending on the potential position you are interviewing for. With the state of the economy today and the status of the work force, it is imperative that job-seekers have an education on how to conduct themselves within an interview. There are many different factors that play into a potential employer's choice of a new hiree. Even if you're not as technically qualified for the position as some of the other candidates, how you present yourself can do wonders in setting you apart from the competition.
- BE ON TIME! Heck, be EARLY for that matter. First impressions go a long way when first meeting your interviewer, and showing that you can put in the extra effort to be more than punctual will scream volumes, especially if you make it to a second interview- consistency says a lot.
- Know the company you are interviewing for. Yes, people actually fail to recognize that it might be a deciding factor if you actually know what the company is about or not. Study everything from what the company specializes in, their mission statement, their key demographics (target market), their product lines, history, how they conduct business, reputation, as well as even developing an idea or two about where you see the company headed in the future. You will seem highly interested in the job as well as the company, and you won't look like a kiss-ass either. - Which brings me to my next point. DON'T be one of those guys or gals who feels it necessary to kiss- up to try to get ahead. A respectable employer will see right through this and may find you to be shallow and desperate. Show that you can stand your ground and have a mind of your own. Expressing disagreement in the right way at the right time will earn you respect, and this also demonstrates that you are a leader, not a follower.
- Body language plays a huge role in interviewing as well. Ever heard that what you communicate is 93% what you don't say with your mouth, but with your body? Well, it's true! Practice having strong, relaxed posture and avoid fidgeting- this displays nervousness and a lack of confidence. Confident body language entails strong eye contact, a firm handshake, even paced movements, and a calm demeanor. Also, remember to keep your chin up as this also signifies confidence and leadership. All in all, you are trying to convey the message that you value yourself, and that you know what you can bring to the table.
- Play to your strengths. Don't deny your weaknesses, but be willing to express that you don't know something if you truly don't know something. If this is the case, then also make it clear that you are very willing to learn and are capable of doing so. I find learning to be fun, and this kind of ambition is imperative, especially in the upper-echeleon jobs. On the same token, know what you are really good at and what you can offer to the specific position you are interviewing for as well as the company as a whole. Know the position you are interested in and what it's duties are and be able to recite them- you will most like be asked about them.
- Preparing for an interview is about more than what you know, sometimes it's about WHO you know. If you have connections within the company, USE THEM! Don't brag about being tied in with a higher up if that's the case, but when the opportunity presents itself (such as being asked if you know anyone, or if when you are asked about your knowledge of the company, now would be a good time to make your connections known) humbly interjected your friend's name. It could go a long way.
- One of the most obvious points- dress well! Dress as professionally as you can and dress for the part. Obviously a suit and tie wouldn't be necessary for a job at say, Target, but looking clean, smelling clean, and wearing matching clothes that fit well play the biggest part in presentation.
- My final point- be confident. Know who you are, where you come from, and what you're about. Be well spoken and well rehearsed. Preparing for an interview will help you to feel more confident, as you will have a plethora of skills and knowledge at your disposal. Knowing what's expected ahead of time will help to alleviate any anxiety or nervousness you may have about the interview. A list of questions you will most likely get asked are:
Why do you want the position?
What do you know about the position and/or company?
Why did you leave your previous job and/or get terminated?
What is your background?
What are your strengths/weaknesses?
Are you able to meet the work requirements and how?
What do you have to offer?
Why do you feel that you are the best candidate?
Do you have any questions of your own?
Come up with a few questions of your own and seem as interested as possible. Also, find out what your potential employer can offer YOU, as you will be spending a fair amount of time there should you get the position, and this type of inquiry makes the interview seem a little less one- sided. Make sure it is worth your while, be prepared, and GOOD LUCK!

Your Career in the New Year: Three Resolutions Worth Keeping By Kristen M Harris
I love a new year! It always feels so filled with possibility. It's a fresh start and time to try something new. Instead of the same old resolution to lose ten pounds, exercise every day, or give up chocolate (gasp), this year make some resolutions worth keeping. Here are three ideas that will make a difference in your career over the next year, and for many years to come.
Gain new skills. In the creative industry we can never stop learning. Today individuals are responsible for the growth of their own skills and career; an employer may help fund or provide learning opportunities, but you are responsible for guiding your own growth. Stay up-to-date (ideally on the cutting edge) of what's going on in your industry and your discipline. Take a class, learn new software, or build complementary skill sets. Learning comes in all shapes and sizes, from formal to informal. There are great classes offered at local schools, community centers, and through our Illumination Bureau. Informally, you can also learn from peers, other industry group members, at a presentation, or in a seminar. Creativity often happens when you try something new, something outside of your discipline. Go to an architecture presentation, take a cooking class, learn to weld. You never know where inspiration and ideas will come from, or how you'll use that skill in the future.
Connect with inspiration. To be interesting, be interested. Read everything, research a new idea, go to an exhibition, listen to a speaker, watch a movie, or just walk around your neighborhood. There is content, information and data everywhere. In fact, it often feels overwhelming; you'll never be able to read or consume everything available. Choose a few interesting blogs, newsletters, Facebook pages, or publications to follow. Every so often allow yourself to follow an interesting path down the rabbit hole. Click, click, click... suddenly you're exposed to artwork you've never seen or are reading an author you've never heard of. The joy of discovery can lead to fresh inspiration.
Meet interesting people. The creative industry is a tight ecosystem, it always seems like everyone knows everyone else. At your next industry event, make a point of talking to someone you don't know. Interesting conversations happen with people who are different from you. Attend events for your industry, or for another industry you are drawn to. Find a hobby or an organization to get involved with, related to your professional discipline or not. Connect, or re-connect with former teachers, supervisors, classmates or co-workers. Find someone you consider a mentor (formal or informal, really a mentor is just someone you respect and can learn from). Meet to chat with them periodically.
By focusing attention on one or more of these areas, you'll have an intriguing and engaging new year while building skills, experience, inspiration, and connections that will serve you well for years to come.

Job Search Tips And Ideas For Job Seekers By Crystal J Casavant
All of us appreciate support, encouragement, and tips when we are job hunting. Knowing that you are not alone and there are resources to help can really increase your confidence. Good luck in your search and may your future be as bright as you are. If you know people in the field you want to be in, ask for a referral or introduction. You've heard about the fabulous pay and great benefits for County and State jobs, know where to find them and use any and all tools available in your area. Set yourself apart and use the internet differently than the competition by having job openings emailed directly to your inbox and using company websites to educate yourself on the mission and vision the organization. Ask plenty of questions before, during, and after the interview, and always do your home work so you aren't wasting your time or that of the human resource professional you are speaking with.
If you know people in the field you want to be in, ask for a referral or introduction.
o "________, I've heard good things about your company and you seem to like it, right? Who would I talk to about floating my resume?"
o "________, I haven't seen anything that Company XYZ is hiring, but do you happen to know anyone in HR you could put me in touch with?"
County and State jobs are coveted - know where to find them. Set up your profile and find out what's out there that may be a dream come true for you!
o See if your State and/or County has a website for their job postings (try googling the name of the state and the word jobs - same thing for the county)
Set yourself apart - use the internet differently than the competition.
o Use the Job Center website if your State or County offers this helpful tool and have your resume and cover letter ready to go.
o Have Job Center jobs matched to you and emailed directly to your inbox.
o If you have a social networking profile, tidy it up a bit... foul language and drinking pics should be taken down - you don't want to send the wrong message.
o If you have your resume on multiple sites, make sure it's the same or similar on each. If you update one, update all of them.
Ask Questions.
(Before, During, or After the interview it's important to ask questions. If you aren't sure what to ask - here are some examples:)
How would you describe the company culture/work environment?
What type of employees tend to excel at this company?
What qualities are you looking for in your new hires?
Can you tell me more about the interview process?
What is your turn over rate for the type of position I am interested in?
What type of training do you offer?
How often do you provide reviews and feedback?
What are the most important skills for the job?
How would you describe your ideal candidate?
What are the three key skills/strengths vital to this position?
Do your home work.
o Most companies have a website with important information about the company and if you're lucky - information for job seekers.
The Shiny Sparkly Resume!
If a car on a car lot doesn't look shiny and impressive, you'll likely drive by without checking the sticker. Your resume works the same way - if your resume doesn't catch the employers attention you will not get the phone call or the interview much less the job.
Make sure your resume is shiny and sparkling!
Choose Resume Words Carefully / Surpassed vs. Completed
o Anyone can complete a task - surpassing expectations shows that you went above and beyond. Catch the readers attention and capture interest by using strong words to describe your accomplishments:
Sample Headlines
o Dedicated ______ professional with ___ years of experience in _______
o An accomplished _____ professional with proven entrepreneurial success and expertise in ___________
o Talented _____ professional with over ___ years of experience providing outstanding support to ____________
Sample Qualifications
o Extensive hands on experience in ______
o Diverse _ skills with exceptional __ background in _________
o Fluent understanding and extensive experience managing _____
o Thrive in deadline-oriented, fast paced situations
Focus on: How you saved the company time or money, How you problem solve, How you use your creativity, How you initiate change and develop others, How you use your skills, How you work successfully with a team.
Submit Your Resume/Application
Always read the fine print and submit your resume/application just ask the employer specifies (ie: if they tell you to fax... don't email - if they request a resume and cover letter, don't forget the cover letter, etc... ). Make sure your resume is short and sweet, to the point, and impressive!
Follow Up
Follow up with a phone call or a card (yes, the kind you mail... set yourself apart)
The follow up should be short and sweet - if you send a card, it could say: Thank you for considering me for the _____ position with company XYZ; I am looking forward to meeting with you. Please call me at ____ and we can schedule a phone interview or face to face meeting.
Prepare for the Interview
Make your list of traits, skills, and abilities
Story Format
Stories Should...
Describe a challenging situation
Describe a difficult decision
Describe your strengths
Describe your successes
Describe your weaknesses
Describe a time when the result was not what you planned for
Don't Forget to Ask Questions?
When the potential new employer asks: "Do you have any questions?" your answer should always be a quick "yes" - and go back to those questions you had ready during the job search:
THANK YOU!
The potential new employer will thank you - but be sure to thank them for their time too. Then... follow up with a thank you card (yes the kind you mail - it will set you apart from other applicants)

Physiotherapy Jobs To Rehabilitate The Weak By Sharla H Pifer
Physiotherapists are commonly known as PTs or physical therapists. They are responsible for patients with injuries and body ailments. Their skills are mostly needed in hospitals, sports club, rehabilitation centers and nursing care home which mostly caters to geriatric patients. Before a person can be a certified as a PT, he must first graduate from a known and certified school that has an accredited program for physical therapy. Most colleges and universities have this as one of their course. The subjects that are tackled are pharmacology or the study of medicines, biology, anatomy and physiology and some classes in psychology. Once the student finishes the course, he has the option to further his study by enrolling for a master's degree which will take two years and after that another three years for a doctoral degree. His license and some of his requirements are managed by the regulatory board of the state. There are some states that will require a continuing education to maintain their license and their physiotherapy jobs.
A physiotherapist's job is to evaluate the physical condition of their patients and determine the cause of pain, type of injuries and the limited movement of their muscles. The condition of their patients can be assessed when they do a number of movements with their client's body to be able to know the problems that cause them discomfort and pain. Some problems that they may experience are caused by vehicular accidents, injury from sports and neurological and physiological conditions.
Physiotherapists are not only for rehabilitative care but should also learn to be attentive to their clients' needs by listening to them. This is a good way to practice good interpersonal skills when dealing with them and their family. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required when taking down notes on what you had observed from them and the care plan that you will apply. For a PT to do quality care, there are techniques and programs for treatment that he must review so he could apply it more accurately.
MASSAGE
Massage therapy is done to relax the joints, muscles and tissues. This is usually performed either before or after an exercise to enhance the circulation of blood and oxygen in the body. In a typical setting, the massage will only be done on the affected body part.
EXERCISE PROGRAMS
Every exercise for a client is designed specifically for them. This is based on their condition and the tests that are done to them. The aim for this is to lessen the pain and improve their mobility. The training that they will have to do is light cardio workout, some running and walking, bicycling and swimming. The exercises will be based on the asperity of their condition. If the patient will show improvement, their exercise routine will be modified to be more laborious.
PLAN
The treatment plan should last for a long time to ensure that no pain will be felt again and also to regain full body mobility. This will not only include cardio trainings and exercises that will be planned by a physiotherapist but also nutritional plans to ensure that the patient will remain to live healthy.
The author writes for http://www.wellnesslifestyles.com.au/careers/ which provides information regarding physiotherapy jobs Adelaide. W&L is the most successful mobile allied health service providers in South Australia and now services Victoria and Northern Territory.

What Are the Top 10 Frequently Asked Police Interview Questions?
By Saad Naveed Bari
If you are interested to join the police, then you are making quite a wise decision since you will be playing a part in protecting the lives and properties of so many people. However, you will, firstly, have to pass through the police oral board interview if you actually want to join, and the police board will be asking you several different questions. Your overall judgment and reading capabilities will be measured through this interview to ensure that you are an appropriate candidate for recruitment. Unfortunately, many candidates do not do well in the interview, in fact; they end up failing. If you are a bit concerned and worried about how you will do in the interview, then you should take a look at the following top 10 frequently asked police interview questions. Keeping these questions in mind will increase your chance of getting recruited.
1: You will be asked to tell them about yourself.
By asking this question the board wants to know about your strengths rather than your history, and that is what you should tell them, instead of mentioning your background. Instead of impressing them with your educational background, tell them about your values.
2. You will be asked why you want to become a police officer.
You will definitely be asked why you want to become a police officer during the interview, and you should tell them about something that truly inspired you to choose this profession. Avoid telling them that you are interested in becoming a police officer is to save lives.
3. You will be asked where you see yourself in the coming years.
This is one of the tricky questions. They basically want to learn about your ambition and commitment to work as a police officer, while they also want to find out if you are career-oriented. So, you should simply tell them how committed you will be as a police officer.
4. You will be asked about your salary expectation.
Avoid mentioning a numerical value when you are asked this question. If you do, then your chances of passing the interview will be quite scarce. You should do a bit of research and tell them a range of the salary you expect when they ask this question.
5. You will be asked why you should be hired by them.
If you are asked about why you should be hired, then this is the perfect time you should tell them about your qualifications, skills and even any experience that you might have. This is the right time to show them how unique you are.
6. You will be asked about your motivations.
This question will give you the opportunity of discussing your special traits and expressing yourself. If you manage to answer this question as excellently as possible, then you will certainly be rewarded the job. If you manage to tell them exactly what motivates you, then you will ace the job.
7. You will be asked about your greatest weakness.
This is also one of the most important frequently asked police interview questions. There is no harm if you have a few negative traits, but the good thing about this question is that you can present them in a positive way.
8. You will be asked how your close friends describe you.
You can certainly tell them how your close friends describe you since that is what they asked, but make sure you only mention things that are relevant to the job. Tell them what your friends see in your personality and describe your traits that they seem to admire.
9. You will be asked to give an example of a situation where you didn't lose your cool.
Policemen need to have a lot of patience since their job tends to be so complex. So, you should make sure that you accurately describe a situation from your life well you remained cool despite the circumstances. This will be enough to convince them that you are a patient person.
10. Lastly, you will be asked if you have any police record.
This is a very simple question. If you have a police record just tell them honestly that you do and if you don't, then there is nothing to worry about.
Thus, top 10 frequently asked police interview questions and if you keep them in mind when you walk in for the interview, then you will most likely pass the interview.

New Job Trends: Opting for Spray Tan Training!
By R. Naz
The job market is competitive and it has become harder and harder to find work. You have to have a talent that is in demand, and in today's world that values looking tan and healthy, the relatively new career of spray tan technician is becoming more and more popular as a skill to add to your repertoire. Whether you wish to add a spray tan option in your salon, or wish to apply to a boutique where a spray tan option is in demand, the training that you get to learn this skill will enable you to make a move into a booming market of spray tanning.
Because more people are aware of the damaging effects of the sun when you are exposed to it for hours in order to get a deep, bronze tan, people are avoiding the sun but still looking for that great glow. Applying those sunless tanning products yourself can lead to orange, streaky messes, and missed places that are hard to reach on your own. More people are looking for the convenience of having someone trained in this art to do it for them, in order to have a professionally done application.
People will go to a salon and look for this professional application from a trained technician. If you are enrolled in a spray tan training course, you can learn the techniques to get the skills needed to perform this very popular sunless tanning method on clients. You will be taught the proper use of equipment and the correct mixture of the liquid tanning mixture to use for an even, perfect application. Each client will have different needs, and you will be instructed in the ways to ensure you can cater to them, ensuring a satisfied customer each and every time.
Training in this career can lead to many options. You can take your skills to an established salon and introduce them to the option of starting spray tans in their place of business. If they already have spray tanning available, your skills will be an definite asset that can land you a job in a competitive market, placing you above applicants that may not have any training at all. Or, you can take your newfound skills from your training and break into the market and open your own salon with a service that is very popular and trendy right now. When you know the skills and techniques already, starting a business with this knowledge gives you the edge to both work in your own salon, and oversee the work that goes on with a keen and trained eye.
All in all, the training needed for a spray tan technician can help you break into the job market either by giving you the advantage over untrained applicants, or the knowledge you can use to open up a business of your own, whether in a salon or with one of the very cool mobile spray tan booths. The possibilities you have will widen with the quality of the training.

Veterans Employed to Continue Protecting Americans
By Greg Brunick
We know you. We know the kind of person you must be if you have risked your life to protect Americans. You - yes you - have a passion for protecting people, making sure they are safe from harm. You have character, you have integrity, and you have a unique quality that many people don't have.
You were born with a unique sense of determination - motivation and persistence - motivation to protect people, and the persistence to fight for that goal and do what it takes.
Your fellow Americans respect you for these unique qualities. Not everyone has the passion for helping others that you have. You take a special interest in what is good for the people, and Americans recognize your passion and value you tremendously for that.
Unfortunately, for many veterans, post-service jobs are not always easy to come by. Some veterans go to college before they join the military and others do not. Some people make a career out of the military and others do not. Many veterans return home not knowing where to start when looking for a job. Many feel that they don't really have many options.
While many companies value veterans and their service, the hype for job searches seems to be all about education level and prior experience. It's important for veterans to know that there are jobs for them and that they aren't as hard to come by as many expect.
After spending time protecting your country, the idea of sitting at a cubicle probably seems bleak. Don't limit yourself to a desk job - search for a job that allows you to continue protecting Americans. Don't let your natural passion go to waste - continue using this determination throughout your career.
If protecting Americans is what you love, don't stop now. You may have completed your military career, but your life of service and protection has just started! There are companies out there that are searching for you - your qualities and your life experience. Companies that will value who you are, what you do and where you have been. Companies that care more about who you are than where you went to school or what degree you earned (or didn't earn). It's important to feel valued for who you are.
Consider a job where you help people every day. A job where you pick your hours and how much you make. A job that requires no prior experience, but trains you on their services and products. Sound too good to be true? It's not. These jobs are out there and these companies are waiting for you.
Don't take that boring desk job until you have learned more about your options. At National Agents Alliance, we value you and we value your service. We want people like you working for us. We are looking for veterans who want to keep protecting Americans by becoming licensed insurance agents. National Agents Alliance offers a variety of life insurance options, and we want you to help us protect as many Americans as possible.
